Follow the dynamic behavior of instrument Spectral Centroid and Spectral Flux when playing together in "the wild".

Using the colored switches at the top of the screen, you can turn the various instruments of the orchestra on and off.

The best way to start is to first switch off all instruments via the "All" button (far right) and start the performance with the "Play" button.

Then click on the two oboes ("Ob1" and "Ob2") and then gradually add more and more instruments and observe how they each occupy their own quasi-demarcated areas or "territories" in the Spectralflux/Centroid field.

The closer the timbres are to each other in the Spectralflux/Centroid field, the more similar they should sound.
